This maisonette has been an absolutely amazing home for us as first-time buyers. The key things that attracted us to the place were the great sized rooms - especially the kitchen and living room as we are keen cooks and like entertaining.

Having our own front and back gardens and Chinbrook Meadows park just across the street has been great for the warmer months too!

Mayeswood Road has a lovely community feel. Lots of people have been living on the street for decades, and it's a nice quiet road. There are active community groups with things like free yoga classes, walking groups, nature clubs for kids etc and that just adds to the welcoming atmosphere.

In terms of the local area, it's roughly a ten minute walk to the station (great for us commuting into London), there are shops in walking distance, and decent local pubs! We are also extremely close to Marvels Wood for nice walks, and easy distance to Chislehurst, Blackheath and Greenwich for culture, restaurants and nightlife.
